Terms and Conditions


We aim to dispatch your goods within 24 hours of receiving payment. For UK orders please allow 4-5 working days for orders to arrive once dispatched.  Please contact us if your order does not reach you in this time period. We use Royal Mail - items will be insured to the value of the item. If you require express delivery please get in touch at 
hello@hortusandhome.com and we can arrange this for you. If we do not post to your place of living please do get in touch and we can calculate postage costs for you. All packaging is recyclable or biodegradable to lower our carbon footprint. We are very conscious of creating as little waste as possible and recycling wherever we can.   


For orders within Europe please allow 5-14 working days. For outside of Europe allow 10-30 working days. Orders placed outside of the UK will incur customs or import fees once your order arrives in its destination. www.hortusandhome.com is not responsible for any charges incurred, this is the responsibility of the customer. You can contact your local customs office for more information on this. If you are sending an order directly to someone as a gift, you can enter a message for them in the 'Note to seller' box provided at the checkout. We will ensure this is included in the parcelAll packaging is recyclable or biodegradable to lower our carbon footprint. We are very conscious of creating as little waste as possible and recycling wherever we can.   


If you are not entirely satisfied with your products then please let us know within 48 hours by emailing us at hello@hortusandhome.com. We will accept returns within 14 working days upon receiving your items. Please note prints, cards and sale items are non-returnable. For any refunds products must be returned unworn, unused, undamaged and in original packaging. Refunds (less the delivery charge and any other charges) will be credited to you via the original method of payment once we receive the returned item. We recommend you obtain proof of postage, as we can not take responsibility for items lost in transit. 

If you receive broken or damaged goods, we require you to photograph the damage. Please send us an email within 48 hours of receipt of goods to hello@hortusandhome.com  We hope this never happens, but if it does we will exchange or refund the item.

Hortus and Home is not responsible for return shipping costs nor for handling/import charges when products are returned from outside of the UK. If a parcel is lost when returning a product, Hortus and Home cannot be held responsible for the loss.


By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you the customer are confirming that you are 18 years old or over, otherwise you will have permission from your parents. 

All payments are made securely through Pay Pal.  We always endevour to show products as realistically as possible. It is possible that colours may vary slightly to the ones you see on your screen. We also try to give the most accurate measurements possible for each product but please be aware these may vary as each item is unique.

We hold copyrights & possession of all content and photography found at Hortus and Home unless stated otherwise. We welcome the publicity and use of our content and photography but we do ask that we are credited.
