Our Values

We are developing our own range of clothes for the shop. These are designed by Hortus and Home founder Eleanor Kingdon, from the shape and colour of the garment to the print design. We work closely with a small company based in Jaipur, India to dye, print and make our clothes. Our suppliers source materials locally wherever possible. Garments are made in small batches using 100% organic cotton. The fabric for our clothing is block printed by hand, keeping this incredible tradition alive.

Our collections are not seasonal. They are designed to be worn and bring joy to your day all year round!

As a business, we strive to be environmentally friendly as possible. This is through avoiding the use of plastic wherever we can, and packing all of our orders using recyclable and biodegradable packaging only. We also endeavour to work with makers and companies who are ethically and environmentally minded.
